Jodie De Verney is a visual artist and craftswoman working with objects, installations, and ritual processes. Her practice explores how material presence shapes spatial and bodily experience. Rooted in specific places and communities, her projects critically question the familiarity of everyday life. Using goldsmithing techniques, sculptural methods, and photographic processes, she deconstructs forms that hold traces of use, memory, and transformation. Through small gestures, she sets the invisible into motion, a narrative that unfolds between the self and the other.
